Delhi Capitals edge out Mumbai Indians in the 13th game of VIVO IPL by 6 wickets. The match went down the wires, to last over, but eventually, DC was able to walk out as the winners. Amit Mishra picked up 4 wickets for the Delhi side and Shikhar Dhawan and Steve Smith’s stability providing innings sailed them through.

After this victory, Delhi put aside Chennai from 2nd place with 6 points from 4 games with a Net Run Rate of 0.42, though the 1st positioned RCB and now 3rd positioned CSK have played 1 match lesser than DC.

As far as the ship for Mumbai Indians goes, they sit at no. 4 with 4 points from 4 matches and a Net Run Rate of +0.18. Mumbai was not apt with their performance as they plummeted in their batting and weren’t able to break important DC partnerships and eventually lost the plot.
