Chasing a target of 121 runs, SunRisers Hyderabad has crossed the 50-run mark vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 14 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are currently batting for SRH and are gaining momentum. David Warner fell to Fabian Allen after a run-a-ball 37 but Sunrisers Hyderabad was well placed in their chase of 121 against Punjab Kings. David Warner’s wicket is the maiden wicket for Fabian Allen in the history of IPL.

Earlier, Punjab was bowled out in 19.4 overs, after scoring 120 runs. PBKS’ batting order faced a disastrous collapse on Wednesday, with Mayank Agarwal (22 in 25 balls) and Shahrukh Khan (22 in 14 balls) making the only noteworthy contributions for KL Rahul’s outfit. Khaleel Ahmed was in top for SRH, taking three wickets in four overs, and conceding only 21 runs. Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma took two wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, and Rashid Khan registered a dismissal each.
