Delhi Capitals are already missing Axar Patel who turned out to be positive and on Wednesday Anrich Nortje’s report also came out COVID+ that gave a big blow to the franchise.
African pacers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje arrived from the home series against Pakistan and joined the Team hotel on April 6 with a negative coronavirus report. They were in a mandatory quarantine period of 7 days.

But unfortunately, Nortje’s second covid test turned out to be positive. This is seen as a big loss for Delhi Capitals as they are already missing all-rounder Axar Patel who was also diagnosed with covid-19 earlier this month.
Earlier they have also lost their captain who was ruled out of the series because of a shoulder injury and he had to go through surgery. Rishabh Pant was made the captain of Delhi Capitals and he led to Delhi’s one-sided win in its’s first match against CSK.
