As Covid-19 rocks IPL, in the latest developments Delhi Capitals veteran Spinner Amit Mishra has tested positive for Coronavirus.
IPL has been struggling as Bio-bubbles have completely failed and several players have tested positive for coronavirus leading to suspension of the league temporarily, the BCCI said that IPL would resume once conditions are better.
The infection saga began as Varun Chakravarty from Kolkata Knight Riders tested positive, leading to the revealing of several other players and staff testing positive, Chennai Super Kings bowling coach Lakshmipati Balaji and transport staff have also tested positive for Covid-19 and are currently under treatment.
Teams have gone under isolation as per Covid-19 protocols, Delhi Capitals official Twitter handle revealed the news of spinner Amit Mishra testing positive and has also said that the spinner is currently undergoing treatment, and Delhi Capitals medical teams are in touch with the player making sure he gets all the support he requires to make a healthy and speedy recovery.
