The Indian Premier League is going to be underway soon. The Chennai Super Kings will go against Mumbai Indians on 19th September. Unfortunately, the injury scare for Faf Du Plessis continues. After he recovered from a concussion (head injury), he returned to CPL for Saint Lucia Kings. Firstly, Plessis and his injury have come as a huge setback for MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings. Secondly, he has been the Dhoni-led team’s leading run-scorer. As a result, who will replace the opening batsman is questionable!

There was a lot of speculation on his inclusion in the first clash. As a result, Recently, Faf du Plessis hinted at his return to the yellow brigade for the remaining matches of the tournament as per CSK’s recent social media post. The update further deliberated on his concussion injury and mentioned that he is recovering well and is almost at the end of recovery.

Hoping the fans can see a strong comeback for Faf Du Plessis. His inclusion against the Mumbai Indians clash will be important.
