The Indian Premier League is going to begin on 19th September. The remainder of the tournament will be played in the UAE. The Punjab Kings will go against the Rajasthan Royals in their first encounter of phase two. But before that, Gautam Gambhir has the insight to share on KL Rahul and his performance for the Punjab Kings.

Gautam Gambhir thinks that the world has not seen the best of KL Rahul in the IPL. Gambhir added that KL Rahul is capable of getting two to three centuries if he is at a very good strike rate. Indeed, KL Rahul has had a very good first phase of the IPL. He has managed to score 331 runs in seven matches. “We haven’t seen the best of KL Rahul. Yes, he has got runs, but we still haven’t seen what he can achieve in his batting. You could have a season as Virat Kohli had once. He’s that kind of a player in white-ball cricket, where he can get 2-3 hundred in a season and at a very good strike rate as well,” said Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir also believes that if it does not go like planned then it will become a very big disappointment for Punjab Kings. Even last time around they had put a lot of faith in Glenn Maxwell and Nicholas Pooran but the result didn’t go well. Now as a result of that when international players don’t perform it puts a lot of pressure on the captain as well.

All the best to the Punjab Kings and the captain for the remainder of the Indian Premier League.
