Having had a tough day in the batting following a runout, Shubhman Gill showed some athleticism in the field today.
In the last over of Varun Chakravarthy’s spell, Rahul Tewatia was on strike, he attempted to hit the ball for a six but Shubhman Gill who was standing his ground made an awesome effort to save the six. However, the right-handed batsman could not complete the catch due to which Rahul Tewatia managed to survive but Gill was able to save runs for the team. He simply slapped the ball which was going straight to the fence.
It will be interesting to see if these runs could prove valuable in the end for KKR.
