Yuzvendra Chahal, has been a part of the IPL since 2013 and has accumulated shining numbers in IPL cricket. The leg spinner has scalped 121 wickets in his IPL career. Ahead of the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli showered praises on the RCB spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal.
Kohli stated that it would be a great moment for Chahal to step onto the field on this special day, as he walked in RCB colors in an IPL match for the 100th time.
Adding that Chahal has been the best bowler for RCB, Kohli even stated that he is a friendly chaharcter in the team and is fun to be around.
“It is a very proud moment for him. Barring one game, he has played all his career for RCB. He has been a standout bowler for us over the years. Someone who has made many game-changing contributions. He’s a lovely character to have around the team. He is friends with everyone, which is a rare quality,” Virat Kohli said in a video posted by RCB on their official Twitter handle.
Chahal has also been a part of Mumbai Indians franchise and has played quite incredible matches for the side.
