Shimron Hetmye r and Rishabh Pant fifties were not enough to provide a win for the Delhi Capitals. Delhi’s Captain Pant scored a fifty not in his usual fashion, but a slow one as wickets kept on falling from the second end. On the other hand, Hetmyer fifty was good enough to bring DC back in the game.
Hetmyer scored his 50 in 23 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. He took on Kyle Jamieson and scored 21 runs from his over to bring Delhi back in the game. He sent the ball three times in the stand to collect a heavy 21 runs from the Kyle’s over. Pant on the other end was slow as his priority seemed clear not to give his wicket. He took his time and scored 58 runs from 48 deliveries. His fifty came out of 46 balls which are rarely seen from Pant.
The fifties from both the players were only good enough to bring Delhi back in-game as they failed to win the match by a margin of just one run.
