More COVID-19 trouble for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as now Mumbai Indians’ scout and wicket keeping consultant Kiran More tested positive for Covid-19. MI confirmed the news on Twitter and said the former Indian cricketer is “currently asymptomatic and has been isolated”.
“Mumbai Indians’ scout and wicket keeping consultant Mr. Kiran More has tested positive for Covid-19.

Mumbai Indians official page also shared an awareness message for its fans all around the globe. It says, “We would like to remind our fans to be safe and follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviors in these difficult times.”

According to a report by Outlook, 14 personnel of the Four Seasons Hotel where Star Sports World Feed Crew is staying has tested positive.

Just days before the start of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League, two ground staff members and one plumber have tested positive for Covid-19 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier, 10 ground staff members had tested positive for Covid at the Wankhede,” the MCA source told ANI on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nawab Malik on Monday too confirmed that the IPL matches would be going ahead in Mumbai as planned but the permissions are conditional. According to Malik, IPL & BCCI will have to strictly follow all norms and conditions set by Maharashtra Government.
