Sunrisers Hyderabad has been struggling since the commencement of the tournament and its decision to drop its top players has left cricket fans confused all over. As Hyderabad struggles with a weak middle batting order, Kane’s presence could have changed the game.

Williamson has not played a single match in this season. He is said to have been recovering from an elbow injury. The Kiwi skipper is supposed to miss another two three matches because of the injury. He was expected to play an important role in the season. He has a shining record of over 317 runs in 12 matches last season at a fantastic average of 45.28 while accumulating three half-centuries in the process. The team’s batting order seems in a fragile place without him.

The decision to bench bowler T. Natarajan after playing two matches where he had taken 2 wickets has also not gone down well with fans. Speculation for the cause is on the rise however, Moody (Director of cricket) at SRH has cited the reason as his massive workload.

Surely, both players are vital to the team and as SRH loses for the third time this season we can’t help but imagine if both players could have changed the direction of the game and SRH wouldn’t have ended at the bottom of the points table with net-zero points to its credit.
