With this win, they also broke RCB’s winning streak of 4 consecutive matches. However, the star performer of today’s match was Ravindra Jadeja who demolished RCB with his all-around performance.
The CSK all-rounder scored an unbeaten 62 off just 28 balls having played the match of the life where he hit 37 runs off the last over of CSK’s innings. The tide didn’t end here for the Royal Challengers as Jadeja also took 3 wickets off their dangerous batsmen – Sundar, Maxwell, and De Villiers for just 13 runs. RCB was outclassed by Jadeja’s performance let only CSK as he contributed the most in both the departments.
Jadeja’s classy performance would surely alert the other teams which will play CSK in their upcoming encounters as they’ll have to find ways to overcome Jadeja’s storm.
