Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper Jos Buttler scored a cynical century against the Sunrisers Hyderabad to guide RR toward a good total. Buttler took 56 balls to complete the century. He scored 10 fours and 5 sixes and was looking strong as the inning moved forward. This was Jos Buttler’s 1st IPL century in the IPL.
Buttler scored 17 runs in the Sandeep Sharma over to complete his 50 and 13 runs to Shankar for his maiden 100. He struggled initially against Rashid Khan but managed to get away from him. This is Rajasthan’s 2nd century throughout this IPL. There is no doubt Rajasthan has struggled with the bat. Earlier David Miller and Sanju Samson scored the only two half-centuries this season for RR. Samson converted that in the century earlier.
Samson gave him good support before getting out. He scored 48 runs in 33 balls. Buttler was not as fluent as he is usually but still managed to get there. He has now scored 102 runs in 58 balls and currently batting with Riyan Parag.
