KKR batsman Dinesh Karthik has achieved another milestone in the IPL. He completed 1,000 runs for KKR while playing against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Saturday. Unfortunately, he departed for just 25 runs off 24 deliveries.

KKR former skipper and wicket keeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik achived a milestone of completing 1000 runs for his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. Karthik has been one of the most experienced players in the IPL history. Having represented quite a few franchises, the wicket-keeper-batsman has emerged as a dependable asset.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals were on top after getting Andre Russell, Eoin Morgan and Sunil Narine out in quick succession. Nitish Rana was dismissed by Chetan Sakariya after Shubman Gill was run out for 11 off 19 balls by Jos Buttler after KKR got off to sluggish start.

Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and had no hesitation in opting to bowl first against Eoin Morgan’s Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021 match No. 18 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai today. RR have made two changes to their side while KKR have replaced Kamlesh Nagarkoti with Shivam Mavi. Both the teams are desperate for a win to get their Indian Premier League campaign back on track.
