A tornado ravaged the KKR camp when two of its players Sandeep Warrier and Varun Chakaravarthy were tested positive for COVID-19 and the team was engulfed in a corona crisis. BCCI canceled their match today with Royal Challengers Bangalore and the team along with the management has been quarantining and a protocol of daily testing has been initiated.
Venky Mysore, The CEO of KKR addressed the press and told it that all other players have been tested negative and are living on a floor with a separate duct system. The players will quarantine themselves and hopefully will be able to play on May 8.
He said that for the team the health of its players Varun Chakaravarthy and Sandeep Warrier was of paramount importance and there would be plenty of cricket to be played later.
