Looks like the Hangover of miserable form for KKR’s Andre Russell hasn’t finished with the start of the new season of VIVO IPL.

After a strong show by Rana and Tripathi, fans expected fireworks from this Caribbean all-rounder. But, he fell victim to Afghan Mystery Machaa, Rashid Khan’s spin, caught at long-on by Manish Pandey, when he tries to smack off Khan for a sixer.

Russell attributed only 5 runs into the team score and walked his way back to the Pavillion.

Before this, Rahul Tripathi scored 53 off just 29 balls, and in quick succession, Nitish Rana with 80 off 56 balls and captain Eoin Morgan fell victim to Mohammad Nabi, because of whom SRH made their comeback into the game.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have to chase 188 runs to unsettle KKR. In last 5 overs, KKR stumbled back by loosing 5 wickets and just scoring 42 runs, which marks as SRH comeback. Dinesh Karthik scored a quick fire 22 off 9 balls to push KKR’s score to 6 for 187.
