KL Rahul the captain of the Punjab Kings had a brilliant knock yesterday against the Rajasthan Royals. The timing of the bat and the flow of shots were noteworthy. Unfortunately, he missed one run for a half-century. After a point, KL Rahul also hurried his shots and misjudged them.
The game looked pretty much one-sided with the way Rahul-Mayank was going. The Royals were not able to take a single wicket in the beginning. KL Rahul also unlocked a milestone of 3000 runs in the IPL! The captain would have enjoyed his gameplay in the beginning.
The Rajasthan Royals got the better off Punjab Kings. Firstly, this was possible with the last ball thriller. Secondly, RR beat PBKS by 2 runs only. In the post-match conference, KL Rahul admits “It’s a tough one to swallow,” after they made a mess of what was looking like an imminent victory for them.
Punjab Kings’ middle order didn’t strike a perfect balance. A sensational last over by Kartik Tyagi saw Rajasthan Royals defeating PBKS by 2 runs. As a result, the captain can be happy with his personal milestone at least!
