On the thirteenth match of IPL 2021, defending champions Mumbai Indians face off against Delhi Capitals here at M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Openers Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock’s partnership didn’t work out today as de Kock was dismissed for just 2 runs by Marcus Stoinis as Quinton de Kock failed to judge the ball and went for a drive but ended up sending the ball to Pant for an easy catch.
At 67 runs Mumbai lost Surya Kumar Yadav to Avesh Khan as he bowled an impressive delivery on the outside off and took the edge to send the ball flying to Pant for yet another easy catch.
At 76 runs Mumbai lost hard-hitting Rohit Sharma to veteran Amit Sharma’s loopy delivery on the middle, Rohit Sharma moved forward and tried to push it off to the boundary over mid-on but failed to cover the distance and Steven Smith took the catch without making any mistake.
Just 1 run later, Hardik Pandya disappointed Mumbai as he departed for 0 runs similar to Rohit Sharma for Amit Mishra again with Steven Smith taking his catch too.
4 runs later at 81, Krunal Pandya’s bad form continued as he departed to the stands for just 1 run for Lalit Yadav’s flat ball on the outside off as Krunal Pandya ended up sending the ball straight to the stumps.
Kieron Pollard performed well for Mumbai Indians in the last match with his quick knock but failed to deliver today as Amit Mishra yet again dismissed Pollard with his magical spell, Mishra’s googly landed on a length outside off making it difficult for Pollard to pick up the ball and hit straight to the pads, Umpires called for the ball tracker and sent Pollard back to the Pavillion but Pollar opted for review but had no luck with Ultra Edge and departed to the dressing room.
With 6 of their key batsmen warming the bench now, Mumbai Indians need revival innings from other batsmen or it will be a tough situation for them tonight.
