After scoring a half-century against Hyderabad, Nitish Rana was seen celebrating in a different way. This interesting celebration of Rana resembles a German footballer. He celebrated his three-finger hand gesture as soon as he completed his half-century with a six off Vijay Shankar.
The celebrations have been popularized by German footballer Mesut Ozil. Recently, the World Cup winner revealed that his ‘M’ goal celebration is a tribute to his young niece Meera. However, for whom Rana celebrated this celebration, as of now, many people do not know about it.
At the same time, Rana made a unique record with his innings. He has become the third player to score an innings of 50 or more runs in the IPL, batting at every position from number 1 to 5.

Rana, however, made the most of his start and went on to complete a fine fifty before coming up with an interesting celebration. He reached his fifty on the final ball of the tenth over he smashed a delivery from Vijay Shankar for a six. And soon after completing his fifty, Rana raised his bat before showing the three-finger hand gesture. The fingers resembled the alphabet M.

The celebration was made popular by German footballer Mesut Ozil. In the past, the World Cup-winner had revealed that his ‘M’ goal celebration was a tribute to his young niece Mira. Rana might have done the celebration for a similar purpose but as of now, not many know about it.
Having not won the IPL for quite some time now, both KKR and SRH will be desperate to go all the way this season. Two-time champions KKR have not won the league since 2014. On the other hand, SRH have not won the IPL since the first title in 2016. Last year, SRH had made it to the playoffs while KKR had finished at the fifth spot.
