KL Rahul, not only captains the PBKS side but he is their only saving grace in Batting. A team like PBKS, that has names like Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda, Shahrukh Khan, struggles to get off going, and easily embarrasses their captain with their abysmal show. This is almost a regular story and that’s what puts this article right here. The same PBKS Middle-order downfall story continued against RCB as well.

PBKS were invited to bat, as Virat Kohli won the toss for RCB and opted to field first. Punjab Kings’ opener for the night changed, as they tried Prabhsimran Singh with ever dependable KL Rahul in the top. But fate didn’t even got off an inch as they lost Prabhsimran in the 4th over. Eventually, Chris Gayle alongside KL Rahul eased up their situation of an early sabbatical, and posted a good 1st wicket partnership of 80 runs before Gayle got dismissed. Then the eventual downfall began.

Nicholas Pooran continued his DUCK-worthy form, as for the 4th time this season, he got dismissed without even scoring a run. Then, Deepak Hoods tried to hit Shahbaz Ahmed, he got caught in the boundary line. Strongly bidded Shahrukh Khan wasn’t even able to flaunt his way, as he was poised by a splendid googly from Yuzvendra Chahal, and in the span of mere 19 runs, PBKS’ whole middle-order, bewildered and got dismissed.

This is been their fate this season, that its Only Rahul Or No One. No other batsman has stood up to the questions asked by bowlers, like KL Rahul has, and unfortunately, the over reliability on KL Rahul, doesn’t works in their favour always.
