IPL 2021: PBKS player Dawid Malan says, “The only guarantee we have at the moment is IPL”

Dawid Malan has been making it to the headlines and is the talk of the town! Yes, after a three-year gap, he has returned to the test side for team England. He is currently playing India vs England third test at Headingley Stadium in Leeds. Malan scored a fantastic 70 (128) before getting caught behind Mohammed Siraj’s delivery. 

Recently Dawid Malan talks about being committed. He will be playing the IPL for the Punjab Kings IPL team. All the preparations for the IPL have begun. The tournament is scheduled for 19th September live from UAE. Malan also adds that he will have to think about the T20 World Cup and Ashes at a later stage.

At a virtual press conference after the second day’s play against India, Dawid Malan says, “The only guarantee we have at the moment is IPL — we don’t know if we’re going to the World Cup and we don’t know if we’re going to the Ashes, so it leaves us in quite a tough situation,” 

The cricketer who is making a fine comeback for the test side admits to not taking anything for granted. He is thinking of all possibilities but is committed to the IPL.

All the spectators hope that Dawid Malan has an impactful journey in the remainder of the tests against India and for the Punjab Kings during the Indian Premier League.
