The IPL 2021 will begin on 9 April and the final match of this tournament will be played on 30 May. In the IPL 2021, the first match of Mumbai Indians will be with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Defending champions Mumbai Indians have bought seven players including Arjun Tendulkar in the Indian Premier League 2021 auction held in February. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar is pacer and he can also contribute with the bat.

Opener: There is no doubt that Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock have performed well in the team for the last two years. Team management will rely on Quinton. Last season, he scored 503 runs. Mumbai will land with this pair. In such a situation, Chris Lynn will have to sit on the bench once again.

Middle order: There is no doubt that Suryakumar Yadav is the best batsman in Mumbai. He scored 512, 480 and 424 runs in the last three seasons. His performance earned him a place in the T20 against England. After Suryakumar, Ishaan Kishan will come to bat. Last year, he made history by scoring 516 runs. This uncapped player had scored the most runs this season. He hit 30 sixes and had a strike rate of 145.76. In 2021, he will enter as a capped player.

All-rounder: Pandya played a key role in winning the title to the team by scoring 281 runs at a strike rate of 178.98 last season. Kieron Pollard scored 268 runs in the last season of IPL at a strike rate of 191.42 and took four wickets. Krunal Pandya will be the second all rounder. However, he could not score more runs in the last season. But in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 388 runs and also took five wickets. He also scored fastest 50 as a debutant in the recent series against England.
