The Punjab Kings owner, Preity Zinta shared a tweet praising Shahrukh Khan’s batting performance after the team lose the match against MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings on Friday. The PBKS lost the match by six wickets by setting a chase of 107 for the Chennai players.

After pacer Deepak Chahar scythed through the PBKS batting unit with an impressive figure of 4 on 13, CSK batters didn’t have much to do. Needing a score of 107 to win, CSK got off to a sloe start, but later on, with the entry of their all-rounder Moeen Ali, the game seemed to be on the CSK’s side. The Chennai squad won the match by 6 wickets.

However, though their loss was inevitable after the first innings, Shahrukh Khan gave an impressive performance by scoring the highest with 47 runs, just three left to complete his fifty. Preity Zinta took it to Twitter to praise the player and highlighted his smashes.

“Not our night tonight but a few positives. #SRK batted so well under pressure & bowlers came back stronger from the previous game. Better to move on & put this behind us. Hopefully there will be a lot of learning from tonight @PunjabKingsIPL Really well played CSK! #PBKSvsCSK”

After Zinta shared the tweet, Twitter was flooded with memes and people started trolling her with King Khan’s memes.
