Punjab Kings (PBKS) returned to their form after beating Mumbai Indians by nine wickets at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday, April 23. Chasing a target of 132, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal gave their team a great inning start nd paired up for a 53 run partnership.
Mayank Agarwal was dismissed by Rahul Chahar in the eighth over, but the captain kept his end still and formed another partnership with Chris Gayle. The duo put together an unbeaten stand of 7 runs to take their side towards the finish line.
Talking about the Mumbai Indians, despite wickets falling, the Mumbaikar scored runs at an impressive strike rate of 121.15. including five fours and two maximums. Suryakumar Yadav smashed 33 off 27 balls featured fur boundaries and a maximum.
For Punjab Kings, Mohammad Shami and Ravi Shastri has been the highlights as they picked up two wickets each. Apart from them, Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Hooda also played quite impressively.
