The Punjab Kings will soon get a new anthem ahead of the resumption of the Indian Premier League. Co-owner, Preity Zinta shares the news via twitter.

The team that was rebranded last year will now have a new groovy anthem this year. As per sources, the anthem has been composed by Sajid Khan and sung by Mika Singh. The previous anthem, ‘Dhoom Punjabi’ of Punjab Kings, was sung by Mika’s elder brother Daler Mehndi.

The new anthem is titled AboutLastNight and it will be recorded by Mika Singh. It is composed by Sajid Khan.

Before this, Mika Singh had shared pictures with Zinta in a recording studio too.

Amidst the preparations for the Punjab Kings, the team also engages in a fun game night. The squad will be training ahead of the tournament. It will be interesting to see how the new players add value to the team. The KL Rahul led side looks extremely positive despite being placed 6th on the points table.

The Punjab Kings will go against Rajasthan Royals on 21st September. The match will be live from Dubai International Stadium. It will be interesting to see how both the teams go. Good luck to the franchises!
