Ravindra Jadeja gets candid as he speaks of his mentor and guide Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his absence in the Indian dressing room

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has played a crucial role in helping youngsters improve their game. Ravindra Jadeja and Dhoni share a cordial relationship in the Chennai and Indian squad. Speaking of which Jadeja said, “Yes, I miss him because he was always guiding me in the right way. If I wasn’t doing the right thing on the field, he would come and talk to me, and tell me that I have to work some more on a particular aspect. He keeps talking to me, and our bond goes back 12 years. I do miss him.”

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has taught Ravindra Jadeja and guided him with the game. He always advised Jadeja to stay in the middle and take his time. As a result, now Ravindra Jadeja is always looking for opportunities to finish the game and take the game deep. Furthermore, Dhoni has always been a calm and composed player. Therefore, MSD has always taught him to keep a stable head irrespective of how pressurized the situation may be. He also mentioned that the legendary cricketer has had a big influence on his career.
