Today in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai SRH and SRH were up for a battle. SRH won the toss and decided to bowl first. RCB’s opening pair Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal started off the innings for RCB. Devdutt Padikkal marked his return today and played his first match for RCB in IPL 2021 as he missed the first match because of getting diagnosed with COVID-19.

Although the opening pair did not last long and RCB lost his first wicket early. And then time to time wickets kept on falling but Virat Kohli stuck to one end and played a responsible yet slow inning. He scored 33 runs in 29 balls but when the team needed him to accelerate the inning he got dismissed.

In the end overs, Maxwell kept the hope of RCB alive and played a quickfire inning of 59 runs in just 41 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. With the help of Maxwell’s inning, RCB managed to score 149/8 in 20 overs.

Although this would be a low-scoring match it’s not safe to say that SRH will win the match after seeing MI vs KKR’s match on Tuesday. Let’s see which way the match goes.
