IPL 2021 being not so far ahead now, cricket experts are coming forward with their thoughts and suggestions regarding the teams. Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg seems quite impressed with the decision of Delhi Capital’s franchise since they picked Rishabh Pant, India’s wicket-keeper batsman, as their captain. On his twitter handle, Hogg shared his thoughts on Pant being the captain for Delhi Capitals. He confirmed that seeing Rishabh in his form as a captain would be entertaining to watch and he is sure that he will do a great job for his team Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2021.

After this post, fans couldn’t keep calm and in response, flooded Brad Hogg’s twitter handle with questions asking about his thoughts on the ideal batting position for Pant. Many have previously suggested that Pant should bat at number 3, as many has also suggested to let him open the innings in IPL 2021. However, Bradd Hogg thinks different. He responded soon and said that Pant should be left at number 4 which is his usual batting position.

Rishabh Pant was given the role of captain after Shreyas Iyer has to be dismissed from the upcoming IPL season due to his shoulder injury. Pant seems ready to make his team play well says that it was his dream to lead the team one day.

The Rishabh Pant led side will open their IPL journey on April 10 against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
