New Zealand’s pacer Scott Kuggelejien has been signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore as the replacement of Kane Richardson. On Tuesday Scott became part of RCB as Richardson’s replacement who opted out of IPL.
Kane Richardson opted out of IPL citing his concern for the COVID situation in India. Not only him, Ada, Zampa who was also a part of RCB has opted out of IPL for the same reason. Several other players have also opted out naming Andrew Tye and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Scott Kuggelejien was previously part of Mumbai Indians’ bio bubble. He was signed by MI as a reserved player. Scott is New Zealand’s Right-arm fast-medium bowler. He was also associated with Chennai Super Kings previously.
RCB has finally signed him as a replacement. RCB is in the second position in the points table and this season is turning out to be good for RCB.
