Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan on Saturday became the highest run-getter against Chennai Super Kings in all T20 competitions. He achieved this feat during the second match of the IPL 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai today.
Dhawan surpassed Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli after a terrific knock of 54-ball 85, hitting away 10 fours and two sixes. Dhawan now has scored 910 runs against CSK which is nine more run than Kohli’s score of 901, Hitman Rohit Sharma is no third in the list with 749 Runs.
Dhawan also maintained a brilliant partnership of 138 runs with the young man Prithvi Shaw who also went on to score 72 off 38 deliveries. The duo played some brilliant shots out there in Wankhede Stadium and was successful in giving a positive start to DC.
