Shivam Dube who is set to join the Rajasthan Royal this year revealed that he’s ready to bat any spot for the team and wants some special tips from Director Kumara Sangakkara.
“I think, I have played at many positions, so I don’t care much about what I can do, I care much about what teams needs from me, Sangakkara has played a lot of cricket, and he is going to watch me and going to tell me what I need to add in my game to improve and to be a better left-handed batsman,” he said.” Dube quoted in a conversation with PTI.
Sangakkara too was excited to have Shivam Dube in the team and issued a statement saying “If there is an opportunity for him to bowl, it would be very rare and very few overs, if at all.”
It seems like the legend wants Dube to Play as a batsman primarily and perform well to achieve that trophy whthatR won in the first-ever IPL held in 2008.
Rajasthan Royals to start their IPL 2021 campaign against Punjab Kings on April 12.
