The right-handed opening batsman, Shubman Gill played crucial innings in Kolkata Knight Riders 9 wickets victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first match of the 2nd Phase of 2021 IPL as he scored 48 off just 34 deliveries. As a result, he was named the CRED Power Player of the Match for that knock.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders are currently in the sixth position in the 2021 IPL Table. Whereas, Mumbai Indians are in the fourth position and Rohit Sharma is back captaining the Mumbai Indians.
