Nitish Rana’s struggling innings finally came to end as he wasn’t finding the answer to any of the questions which the Rajasthan bowlers asked. Nitish played a total of 25 balls but was only able to score 22 runs. He did hit 1 four and 1 six but that barely mattered for his team as they were already in a difficult situation after getting very few runs in the powerplay.
This KKR team was already put under a lot of pressure by the RR bowlers and the wicket of their very crucial batsman Nitish Rana has added to it.
The left-hander looked in fine touch since hitting a knock against SRH last Sunday but his performance was stifled by the RR bowlers and he got dismissed for a low strike rate after conceding a lot of runs.
KKR would be reliant on their other batsmen to anchor the innings and take the total to a defendable one after a poor start.
