Despite being on the verge of winning the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost against the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the sixth encounter of the IPL 2021tournament. All thanks to the RCB bowlers, they were down and out for most of the chase but they came back from the dead and sealed an unlikely victory.
However, till the end of the game, it was easy to assume that the Hyderabad based franchise will have a clean win the match, but SRH went flat and as always, the fans on Twitter started questioning the officials by alleging it to be a “Fixed match” one again. Similar situation was witnessed in the KKR vs MI encounter, when KKR lost the match from a winning situation against MI.
Take a look at the reactions hat fans have towards the so called “Fixed match” :
Blatant match fixing again-if you can't see this is a another fixed match, you've no idea about how cricket & betting work.
Same strategy by the bookies again-get 1 team in strong winning position, accept lots of bets on them winning, then collapse#SRHvsRCB #IPL2021 #matchfixing— Ben Cook (@cricfan15) April 14, 2021
Bairstow & Manish Pandey out in consecutive balls just after time-out. Not the wickets but the manner. Just another fixed match. Scriptwriters need to do better. #IPL #SRHvsRCB

I think this match between RCB VS SRH was fixed right?😂 But now I think people won't say that because RCB won the match 😂#IPL2021 #SRHvRCB

The match was completely fixed, today's players spend money for money, not just for the team or the country.#RCB #SRHvRCB #SRHvsRCB #MatchFixing
