The fourth match of the IPL 2021 tournament, RR vs PBKS has seen many actions. Punjab Kings won the nail-biting thriller by four runs. Winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals captain, Sanju Samson invited KL Rahul’s team to bat first.
Samson was declared as the player of the match for playing some amazing shots and became the first skipper to smash a century in the IPL. For Royals, debutant Chetan Sakariya shined with the ball as he picked three wickets while bowling at an economy rate of 7.8.
At the end of the match, the equation boiled down to RR needing five runs to win with Samson on the crease and left Arshdeep with the ball. The RR skipper hit the ball in the air but was caught by Hooda standing at the boundary. The brilliant bowling resulted in the victory of Punjab Kings by four runs. It also brought an end to Sanju Samson’s knock of 119 runs off just 63 balls including 12 fours and seven sixes.
