Rajasthan Royals’ last season’s star all-rounder Rahul Tewatia practiced fiercely in the nets before the IPL. During his training period, apart from running, he is in nets, hitting long sixes with his sword.
There was a tweet on the official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals in which Rahul Tewatia is practicing vigorously in the Nets. The Rajasthan Royals team is currently practicing at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai. Rahul Tewatia started his practice after completing his quarantine period. Rajasthan Royals shared a video of his training. In the caption, they wrote, ” How’s this to start your weekend @rahultewatia02 has arrived.”

During batting practice, Rahul Tewatia also tried to hit a switch hit. At the same time, he also shot some of his trademark shots which he made during the IPL in the UAE last season.
Rahul Tewatia batted tremendously last IPL season
Rahul Tewatia impressed everyone with his tremendous batting last season. He surprised everyone by hitting 5 sixes to Sheldon Cottrell against Punjab Kings. Tewatia was selected in the Indian team due to his brilliant performance in the IPL. However, he did not get a chance to make his debut. Rajasthan Royals shared another tweet keeping in mind Rahul’s performance against the Kings Xl Punjab presently know as Punjab Kings.

Rajasthan Royals will play their first match on 12th April against Punjab King’s in Mumbai. Looking at the previous year batting shots and performance of Rahul, every cricket fan is keen to watch him bat fearlessly again this year.
