David Warner, the skipper of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, after a shaky start to his IPL 2021 ambitions, is off to a banger in the second match as he scored his 49th IPL Half-century against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The 34-year-old Australian opener scored 54 off 37 balls with 7 fours and 1 sixer to his name. Kyle Jamieson took Warner’s wicket in a slower delivery as Dan Christian caught him at long-on.

David Warner has always been the cornerstone for Hyderabad in IPL and since 2014, he has never scored less than 500 IPL season runs for SRH (except 2018, due to his ban) and Hyderabad expects him to again perform for his team.

In the last game, he departed cheaply and the heavy interdependency of SRH on Warner was again exposed.
