CSK surely has high hopes for IPL 2021, as their distasteful performance in the previous edition of IPL, broke the hearts of many CSK supporters. But just 8 days before the commencement of this edition of IPL, CSK fans were left abandoned with a piece of Shocking news.
Australian Pacer, Josh Hazelwood pulled out of the IPL. The decision for this sudden pull-off was taken in regards to Hazelwood’s preference of spending time with family. This piece of information rattled CSK fans around the globe. CSK’s official Twitter handle posted a tweet, informing the fans about this decisive event.

But, Twitter is full of all the absurdity and one thing that Twitter assures is, “ENTERTAINMENT”.
There’s no better alternative than MEMES nowadays, for people to understand an event and this announcement was met with some quirky and utterly laughable memes. (Shoutout to the Meme community that does such an eventful service of delighting people’s with crisp, informative JPEGs)
Here are some of the many, hilarious memes:-

These memes even made fun of the alleged and speculated replacement for Josh Hazelwood, England’s explosive opener, Alex Hales.

Even, outta nowhere, Cheteshwar Pujara, the newest and the most experimental signing for CSK this season was dragged into these Memes. Netizens on Twitter alleged that Hazelwood probably pulled out of the IPL due to Pujara’s inclusion. The context for this was derived from the recently played Border-Gavaskar test trophy in Australia, in which Pujara made Australian pacers (Including Hazelwood) his second fiddle, as he opted to not get frisked from the crease easily and played DRAVID-ish knocks to frustrate Aussie pace attack.

Josh Hazlewood withdrawing from Chennai makes Chennai poorer for sure given he is one of the world's premier fast bowlers. However, my sneaky suspicion is that he couldn't stand another month bowling to Pujara in the nets. #IPL2021

Indeed, Hazelwood’s exit from the team, dents, and demoralizes CSK’s hopes, even before the inauguration of this IPL season. CSK fans are expecting a replacement and any information regarding this might be made, within the next few hours, so do watch out for this space.
