In a video shared by the Kolkata Knight Riders Instagram account, Spinner VARUN CHAKRAVARTHY takes off a blinder of caught and ball, in KKR’s practice match.
In the 28 seconds video, a voice-over explaining the blinder catch was carried out. He bowled to a teammate, batting, and then took off an amazing, instinctive catch. This is an example of the 29-year-old’s fitness and fielding capacity.
Varun Chakravarthy, a TNPL breed, last season outshone everyone in the KKR camp. KKR narrowly missed out on the berth of playoffs last season, by finishing 5th. Chakravarthy played a pivotal role in KKR’s conquest of a place in the Playoff.
In the previous season of the IPL in UAE, Chakravarthy took 17 wickets with an astonishing, just above 7 economy rate in 13 matches that he played for KKR. Fans of the Eastern coast-based side, expect another good season for the team as well as Varun.
Kolkata start-off their IPL 2021 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderbad, in the 3rd match of the IPL-14, on the 11th of April.
