As Royal Challengers Banglore plays Delhi Capitals in a crucial match today RCB marched onto the field to bat first as DC bowled. The bowling attack of Delhi Capitals has been on point today as they lost two crucial wickets early on in the powerplay overs.

RCB skipper, Virat Kohli was first to lose his wicket when a ball bowled by Avesh Khan touched the inside edge of his bat and went straight for the wickets. Quite frankly, the skipper was a little surprised by the ball and he didn’t see it coming. As the over ended the ball was taken by Ishant Sharma, who achieved success in the first ball of the over as he took the wicket of Bangalore’s high scorer and star of the season Devdutt Padikkal. He bowled the ball into a knuckle shot and the batsman had no option but to pull it up into the clear sky. The length of the ball was less and it went straight into the hands of the fielder at the deep end.

Thus RCB lost two very crucial wickets of its openers within 6 overs into the game.
