Royal Challengers Banglore is having a splendid season in IPL 2021. Leading the team to a hat-trick of victories in the premier league skipper Virat Kohli’s team has been performing amazingly in the league which has not yet been kind to Bangalore.

Today, RCB registered a win over KKR by a huge margin of 38 runs. KKR’s batting lineup could only manage to score 166/8 in 20 overs and fell short of the target. Half-centuries by Glenn(78) Maxwell and AB de Villiers(76*) played an important role in setting the target of 204 which KKR struggled to reach as wickets fell like dominos. Kyle Jamieson made a decent comeback and picked up two wickets for team Royal Challengers. Yuzvendra Chahal too was the shining star of middle overs lightning the path of his team to victory.

With this victory, Royal challengers have acquired a spot at top of the points table with the highest score of 6 and a net run rate(NRR) of +0.750.
