Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer said in an interview to TOI, ‘KL Rahul batted a little timidly last season. He probably batted deep, as there was not much batting after No. 5 and Glenn Maxwell firing. Unable to do that. He took the responsibility of keeping himself at the crease and batting till the end. This time, everyone will definitely see the aggressive KL Rahul.’
KL Rahul is truly a three-pronged player for his franchise. He is the captain, an opener and apart from that he is also a wicketkeeper. Returning to ODI cricket after a few ups and downs in the T20 International series, he must have gained confidence by scoring a half-century and a century. Jaffer said, ‘It can happen to any player.
