The 12th match of the VIVO IPL between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings stands at mid-innings break, as CSK rolls out a target of 189 for Rajasthan Royals to chase.

Things started out on a similar trend for CSK as Ruturaj Gaikwad again disappointed at the top. Faf Du Plessis looked in good touch but was only able to score 33 off 17 balls before getting dismissed by his South African teammate, Chris Morris. Moeen Ali, Raina, and Rayudu couldn’t make it clear for CSK as they made, 26, 18, and 27. Big expectations from Dhoni too bluffed as Dhoni scored 18 from 17 and Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t do any justice as well. Dwayne Bravo’s useful 20 runs at the last were crucial, which almost made them reach a run less than 190.

For Rajasthan Royals bowlers, it was a good day out in the field. Chetan Sakariya was the best amongst them as he dismissed 3 wickets for 36 runs. Chris Morris, the big money buy for RR was fine too as he took 2 wickets by conceding 33 runs. Unadkat wasn’t able to repeat last match’s herculean effort as he was thrashed for 40 runs from his 4 overs. Tewatia and Mustafizur took one wicket each.

CSK batsman got a firm start but wasn’t able to convert those starts into big scores for the team. Let’s see whether RAJASTHAN chase this down or it will be CSK, MAHI-way!!
