When winning the toss, any captain may choose to bowl first.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):

Devon Conway, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ajinkya Rahane, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (c & wk),  Mitchell Santner, Maheesh Theekshana, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Tushar Deshpande

Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jason Holder, Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal

CSK vs RR Probable Best Performers

Probable best batter

Ruturaj Gaikwad:

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the CSK opener, has continued his stellar performance in the competition through three games. He also ranks among the top run scorers, and he will do his hardest to win the IPL 2023 Orange Cap this year. The right-handed player is aware of game dynamics and performance expectations. He has totalled 189 runs in three games, including two half-centuries, and he will want to keep up his excellent form.

Probable best bowler

Ravindra Jadeja:

Star all-rounder Jadeja, a prodigy with both the bat and the ball, appears to have found the sweet spot following his recovery from a protracted injury. After the opposing team had a quick start during the powerplay in the previous game against Mumbai, Captain Dhoni made him bowl. Jadeja swiftly assumed responsibility for deflating the innings and came back with a three-wicket haul for just 20 runs in his four overs. The left-arm spinner will try to keep this great form against Rajasthan at Chennai’s shifting track.
