The Chinnaswamy Stadium will host the RCB vs DC clash. Royal Challengers Bangalore has won and lost one game each at their home. While Delhi Capitals who are at the bottom of the table will be trying to change their position at the table with a win.
RCB in their previous two encounters has had a mixed performance with both the bat and the ball. In their second game, they suffered a loss at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata where they failed to restrict KKR to a low after having them 5 wickets down for just 89 runs. With the bat in hand against KKR they only managed to score 123 runs before being bowled out while chasing a target of more than 200 runs. In their next game at home, they scored a gigantic total of 212 runs against LSG. They failed to defend the total with LSG winning the match on the last ball.
While on the other hand, DC has lost their opening four games. Their skipper, David Warner has come under scrutiny for his strike rate. Warner is second on the list for Orange Cap with 209 runs at a strike rate of 114. Warner has three fifties to his name in 4 games but he is yet to score at a good strike rate. Warner has hit 27 fours but he has not hit a six in these four games. Warner would fancy his chances to score a knock at a high strike rate at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The pitch at the Chinnawamy often does not make any difference in any game. The dimensions of the ground over the years have always made the ground a batting paradise. The captain winning the toss would like to bowl first, knowing that chasing almost any total can be done at this ground.
Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis (C), Mahipal Lomror, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik, Anuj Rawat, David Willey, Wayne Parnell, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj
Prithvi Shaw, David Warner (C), Manish Pandey, Yash Dhull, Rovman Powell, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Abhishek Porel, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Mustafizur Rahman
Virat Kohli has found the right touch during the first three games in IPL 2023. Kohli has two fifties to his name both coming at the Chinnawamy Stadium. He has scored 164 runs at a healthy strike rate of 147.
Surprisingly, Mohammed Siraj’s best performances have come in the batting paradise Chinnaswamy Stadium. In the first match against the Mumbai Indians, he took 1 wicket and bowled his quota of four overs at an economy of 5.2 runs per over. While after going for runs at Eden Gardens, Siraj made a great comeback against LSG as he took three wickets including the dangerous scalp of Nicholas Pooran. In a match where 425 runs were scored, Siraj bowled at an economy of just 5.5 runs per over.
