Announcing in an official statement, the JSW-GMR co-owned Delhi Capitals franchise confirmed that Vice-Captain Faf du Plessis and South African teammate Tristan Stubbs have rejoined the team after a brief suspension of the tournament due to geo-political tensions between India and Pakistan.
Du Plessis, a prominent foreign player of the Delhi Capitals, will be available for the rest of the IPL 2025 season. Stubbs, however, will remain with the team until May 26 only since he is to join South Africa’s side for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final, which will take place from June 11 to 15 at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
