IPL 2025: Key Players To Watch Out For In GT
IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans (GT) are gearing up for another shot at IPL glory as they enter the 2025 season with a strong squad. After winning their first championship in 2022 right after a mega auction, the team hopes to repeat history in IPL 2025, which also follows a mega auction.
GT has constructed an impressive group, adding world-class players like Jos Buttler, Glenn Phillips, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Kagiso Rabada. Those star players carry enjoyment and skill, making GT one of the most properly balanced groups in the event.
Earlier than GT kicks off their IPL 2025 marketing campaign on March 25 against Punjab Kings, let’s take a closer look at 3 players who are currently in top shape and will make a massive impact this season.
Kagiso Rabada, a former IPL Purple Cap winner, has joined the Gujarat Titans from the Punjab Kings. Acknowledged for his specific pace and pinpoint accuracy, Rabada is predicted to steer GT’s bowling attack.
Rabada lately played an essential role in the MI Capetown SA20 championship win, taking 4 wickets in the very last match to the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. In his 3 T20 matches, he has taken 8 wickets, including a wonderful 3/36 spell in the 2025 Champions Trophy against Afghanistan. With such a shape, he is a sturdy contender for the purple Cap in IPL 2025.
Anuj Rawat, an uncapped wicketkeeper-batter, has previously played for Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. GT secured him for just ₹30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction, making him a budget-friendly but valuable addition.
Rawat is in sensational form, having scored three half-centuries in his last four innings. Impressively, he has been dismissed only once in his last five matches. His ability to clear the boundary with ease might earn him a spot in GT’s starting XI over Shahrukh Khan.
Sai Sudharsan has been a consistent performer across formats. The left-handed batter was GT’s highest run-scorer in IPL 2024 and continues to showcase his talent.
Ahead of IPL 2025, Sudharsan delivered a stunning double century for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy and followed it up with a century against Australia ‘A’ in Australia. Though he hasn’t played much T20 cricket recently, his red-hot form suggests he will be ready to make a big impact for GT this season.
