IPL 2025: On Tuesday (8th April), two matches were played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The first match was between KKR and LSG at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The second match was between PBKS and CSK at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.

IPL 2025 Match Recap: KKR vs LSG & PBKS vs CSK

In the KKR vs LSG match, the team led by Rishabh Pant won their third game of the IPL 2025 by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by four runs. LSG started strong with the bat, as Aiden Markram (47) and Mitchell Marsh (81) played really well.

The two put on 99 runs for the first wicket. Later, Nicholas Pooran (87*) joined Marsh, and together they scored 71 more runs, making it tough for the KKR bowlers. Pooran stayed till the end, helping LSG reach a huge total of 238/3 in the match.

In the KKR vs LSG game, Kolkata Knight Riders struggled early, with Quinton de Kock out for 15. Ajinkya Rahane (61) and Sunil Narine (30) brought the team back with a 54-run partnership, and Venkatesh Iyer (45) added more runs. However, LSG kept taking wickets, and Rinku Singh (38*) fought hard but KKR fell short by 4 runs, ending with 234/7.

In the PBKS vs CSK match, Punjab Kings started well with Priyansh Arya (103) hitting a quick century. Despite losing wickets, Shashank Singh (52*) and Marco Jansen (34*) helped them post 219/6. CSK chased well, with Devon Conway (69) and Shivam Dube (42) leading the way, but they fell short by 18 runs, finishing with 201/5.
