Gujarat Titans pacer Prasidh Krishna made an important contribution with the ball in the ongoing match against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. The game is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Prasidh Krishna, who has been in excellent form with the ball in IPL 2025, delivered another outstanding performance in the match against Rajasthan Royals. The fast bowler took key wickets and helped put his team in a strong position.
Prasidh Krishna took the important wicket of Sanju Samson, his first in the game, breaking the backbone of Rajasthan Royals’ innings. He dismissed Samson on the third ball of the 13th over, leaving the 2008 IPL champions struggling at 116 for five.
Krishna bowled a short delivery, angling the ball towards the off stump. Samson tried to create space and guide it to third man but ended up mistiming the shot, sending the ball straight to Sai Kishore at the edge of the circle.
What stood out was Krishna’s reaction after the wicket. He flashed a wicked smile and celebrated with a savage tongue-out gesture as Samson walked back to the pavilion.
Prasidh Krishna played a key role in his team’s victory against Rajasthan Royals. After dismissing Sanju Samson, the pacer took two more wickets, leading his team to another win in the ongoing IPL.
Krishna finished with impressive figures of 3/24 from his four overs. His outstanding spell helped Gujarat Titans bowl Rajasthan Royals out for 159 runs, securing a dominant 58-run win.
Prasidh Krishna spoke about the win, emphasizing that the credit goes to the entire team, as their hard work is finally paying off. Reflecting on his spell, he mentioned that the wickets taken by others set up opportunities for him to strike. He also shared his plans, stating:
“The work we put in as a team is showing. Credit goes to the whole team. We are picking wickets and it becomes easier for me. Lovely team effort”
There was some extra bounce in the wicket and why not (when asked if he enjoyed tickling the ribcage), but I mixed it up by going fuller and shorter. It is to do with the pitch, our motto as a team is to be adaptable and read the pitch early, the communication is there throughout the game.”
