IPL 2025: Punjab Kings Pull Off Stunning Win Over KKR in Low-Scoring IPL Match
Yuzvendra Chahal led a dramatic comeback for Punjab Kings with an impressive spell of 4 wickets for 28 runs, helping his team beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 16 runs in a low-scoring thriller on Tuesday.
After bowling out Punjab Kings for just 111 runs in 15.3 overs, KKR looked on track for an easy win, reaching 60 for 2 in just 7 overs. But Chahal turned the match around by ripping through KKR’s middle order. Kolkata were eventually bowled out for just 95 runs in 15.1 overs.
Earlier in the game, Punjab had a strong start with Priyansh Arya scoring 22 and Prabhsimran Singh hitting 30. But the team collapsed from 39/0 to 111 all out. Harshit Rana was the pick of the bowlers for KKR, taking 3 wickets for 25 runs, while Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine took two wickets each.
It was the second-lowest total by any team this IPL season, but Punjab still managed to pull off a remarkable win.
